I Love You Poem by Sheryl Barison

I Love You

I love you not like boyfriend and girlfriend;
Not simply as you think.
But a love that won't end,
Not easy to forget as you did.

I love you and no words could ever define.
These feelings of mine
That supposedly I had to dump,
But choose to treasure and keep it inside.

You are not one of a kind,
That anyone could ever fight.
Am I really that stupid?
For love you still despite of taking me for granted.

I love you that's why I keep on waiting.
Hoping one rainy evening you will come rushing.
Knocking at my door calling my name;
Saying you love me even you keep on pretending.
