I Lost It Poem by Ernest Obeng

I Lost It

I lost the care you gave
And now I dare for it
I miss the words you said
And now my ears are itching

My character betrayed your smiles
And now my eyes wish
They could see them ones more
And yet impossible

How could I turn away the rays
That radiated from your eyes
And resist the love
That erupted from your heart

I betrayed your love
Defiled your trust
And threw spears
Into your heart

My conscience is judging
My personality is dwindling
My eyes keep on sweating
All because your attention is gone
