I lost a dream in my dream
that you my friend far to be seen
I wander and wander in the dream
to find you my friend fade to dim
I light a candle but lost my dream
leave you my friend still within
I go back to world true as it seems
but you my friend are locked in dream

This is remarkable. The dream must be the kind psychologists call LUCID DREAMING when the dreamer is aware of dreaming and can to a degree shape the dream. It is your efforts to find a lost soul which is so admirable; the fact you can't find this person is an issue of Fate. You've done your part, your heart is in the right place.
