Tried things to ease the pain,
Tried to forget you but it's never been the same,
Tried to play your game but i ended up walking while crying under the rain,
It's been so long since i had you,
So long that i never knew if your love was true,
but i took the risk and broke all those rules just to be with you,

Tried to win your love again,
Tried to show you how much you mean to me,
But it just got wasted 'cause you refuse to see,
It's not always a happy ending honestly,
But oftentimes he/she who gives more gets left behind,
It's really not fine but when you love your heart gets bet on the line,

Tried to forget about us,
Tried to move on but still i see you,
Everywhere i go i think of you,
For now i can't tell you,
'Cause i know you don't feel the way i do,
And even though i want to start over again i can't force you to,
'Cause i love you so much i can't afford to hurt you,
Though you don't believe i love you
or when i say i miss you,
Still i continue to love you in silence,
'Cause i respect you and wherever you are,
