I Lit A Candle Poem by Phoenix1 Smith

Rating: 5.0

I lit a candle
seeing it blink
light so bright

on its fine wick

flickering, light
show a lost heart
its loving way...

Full marks for this exquisite piece of poetry. Insightful and philosophical. It shows how a common topic can be substantially satisfying in its poetic avatar. Thanks, Phoenix.
