I Know So Little Poem by Great Victor

I Know So Little

Rating: 4.0

I know so little, yet I'll tell you all.
Eve I did call her - for she was the first
of an awakening lullaby.
She held a part of my being
and controlled the sphere of my mind
the clouds of my strength, mimicked the smile of her fist
"strong" and "confused" seemed so aligned
perhaps my strength was two minded.
Yet that's not all
The will of my words, locked in the dome of her pride
so I carried my lie alone to die
she spat her own truth even before rapture
yet they could colour just half a sky
‘His past held the other half'.
Yet that's not all
I saw clearly when I looked through her eyes
The light missing in mine, I found
But no; I was too strong to fall
A flesh of pound. Yes -
It was the other way around
