a text from him
makes it sure
your heart beats twice
in one second beat
can't wait for the day
we finally meet

i wonder your lips texture
as they touch mine
i wonder your hands feel
as ours intertwine
i ponder the sound of your heartbeat
as my head lay against your chest
your the last thing on my mind before
i lay down to rest

the sun beats down
as i look in your eyes
i wonder now
is our love a superise?
do people wonder why,
or when?
do they ask if its true,
now and then?

because
those three simple words
