Almighty God
i, your child, bow
before you now.

O Eternal One,
i come to you
with a lotus
in my hand
to offer you
love and gratitude
as the day
bows with me
and i fall on my knees
before your might
and kindness.

i thank you
for all the beauty
that i could
experience today.

Thank you for
all thekindness
that i could
experience
from my friends.

i thank you
for all the goodness
with which i could
treat the poor
today.
thank you Lord,
God of heaven
and the earth.

I kneel before you
now in the beauty
of the sinking light
of the dusk.

denoting my nothingness
before my God
whom i adore)
