I Keep The Door Open And My Mouth Closed. Poem by RIC BASTASA

I Keep The Door Open And My Mouth Closed.

he must be too slow
or perhaps too fast
but just the same
whatever is the thought
the fact is, he is left
alone now, still thinking
why and how.

it is sad, no one wants
to be left alone, no one
wants to have a drying tongue
or aset of old hands, or
some kind of lazy feet
grounded on the floor.

i am thinking also of myself
if it happens to me, and then
i said to myself, i will always
be ready: i keep the door open
and my mouth closed.

Thinking about self is nice and opening the door of happiness is very motivational. An important poem is well penned.10
