I Have To Go Poem by darlene williams

as i reach the final chapter of my life
and heaven's door open upon my humble soul
please dont be sad and cry for me
just whisper a prayer of love for me

remember me once in awhile, but not often
and not in rainy days but the happy times
recall the joy and happy thoughts we shared
the quality moments and the love we had

for each one of us will pass though this
and we have to go light heart alone
i have learned and traveled through time
and its time for me to go in Master's arm

when you miss me and your heart ache's
just close your eyes and listen to your heart
for i was there with you all the time
i never left you all alone even for awhile

please great each day with a prayer and a smile
for god have given us a time and love to share
though this time i will not be visible
i'm just a heart beat away all the time

Remember i have loved you all my life
and will always will till the end of time
please open your heart let the pain go
for Father's hand is waiting and i have to go.
