I Have Been In Love With Nature Poem by Francis Duggan

I Have Been In Love With Nature

I've been in love with Nature ever since I was a boy
And her beauty is for everyone for all for to enjoy
In my every walk in the park her beauty I do see
She truly is amazing that's how she does seem to me
The more I learn of her the more I realize
That I do not know much about her does that come as a surprise
To you or anybody the more of her we learn and know
The more it seems our wonder of her does only grow
My biological clock is ticking fast the years have left me gray
And I am one of many who has known a better day
On how long we live not for us to know though time brings to us decay
In the bosom of Nature in some form we will lay
I am a migrant fellow far south of my Homeshore
And I've been in love with Nature for fifty five years or more.
