I Grow Tired Of The Artificial World Poem by Shalom Freedman

I Grow Tired Of The Artificial World

Rating: 5.0

I grow tired of the artificial world
The computer the internet
The whole business of relating to some device
I decide I need the real world again
To see and hear people face to face
To talk and walk and look
Among the ongoing bustle of real live human beings
I want to go out and walk and look and be free
Goodbye for now to all you clever things
And to my own would- be - cleverness also
I am free
Just an ordinary human being again
Don't message or text or email or twitter or twutter me
I am free
