I give too much time to grief
I know it's wrong
But I miss so many people
I have known
And so much of my life gone
I know it is wrong
But I grieve too much
And even my times of joy
Which are many
Cannot cancel this
But too are often mixed with regret
At those no longer here
To enjoy them with us.
In our old age what we are left with is a collage of painful and pleasant memories but the latter often takes a backseat. Thanks, Shalom.

It is wrong but giving too much time to grief is common these days. To enjoy time a positive perspective is necessary. An excellent poem is beautifully penned.10
