In an estate sale I was bought,
A piano, white baby grand,
By a caring Mama who sought
A gift for daughter second hand.
Mama with daughter through the years
Enjoyed together music played,
Bringing them both laughter and tears,
With all the sweet music they made.
It mattered not the wear and tear
Of my aging, they both kept on
Making best use of me to share
The joy until Mama was gone.
Daughter now grown and lovely be,
Playing her sweet music with me.
