TO: AMBER, SHAWNandTIM
I don't want to be your dad, I want to be your friend.
You yell at me that I'm not your parent, and I can't ask you to do anything like pick up your toys, then you ask me to buy you things.
I don't want to be your dad, I want to be your friend.
You want to play my (XBOX, PS2, NINTENDO GAMECUBE) but dont want to be my friend any other time.
I don't want to be your dad, I want to be your friend.
You yell that I'm not your parent, but who makes sure your safe and don't get hurt when you do things you shouldn't, makes sure you get plenty to eat, looks after you when your sic?
I don't want to be your dad, I want to be your friend.
Who plays on the floor with your toys with you or takes you to the park to play?
Who gives you time out of the day?
I don't want to be your dad, I want to be your friend.
Who gives you a kiss on your forehead and hugs and says I love you?
I don't want to be your dad, I want to be your friend.

Nice work, Jeff! I'm sure the understanding will become mutual once the me-me-I-I period has been satisfied and time allows reflection. Stages of growth are difficult to witness sometimes. L
