I Don'T Know When Poem by Junate Ers.

I Don'T Know When

I don't know when…
Hospital Kids smiling
would rush to parks
In their hands with water-guns
They would jump in the puddle
Careless and joyful.

I don't know when…
Flowers would bloom and spread around
In the largest pots of Your Heart
Which shelters my excitement
Fearless and addicted.

I don't know when…
I would fly my kite
Lost in my childhood
Remained far, far away
Unfulfilled and suffered.

I don't know when…
Guns and missiles would disappear
And burn in the furnace of peace
While Kids are confident and
Free of land mines
Standing hand in hand.

I don't know when…
I would flee from daily hubbub
And run on the mountains
Green and laden with violets
With never-ending smell
As my feet are gleeful on clovers
Daring and bare.

I don't know when…
My friends would show up
Who I left back oceans away
Either on my lonely or on a boring day
Smiling at me
Making my day.

I don't know when…
My Dad would come down back
Like he had never gone away
As he wipes away my tears
Saying it was a dream and over now
In front of the divine sunshine.

I don't know when...
I would stumble upon you
All of a sudden and in haste
Maybe on the subway or in neverland.
Jaw down or frustrated.

I don't know when…
