I Do Wish Poem by Parameswaran Nair Damodaran Nair

I Do Wish

Rating: 5.0

While I am searching for golden words
In the treasure chest of my memory
For wishing you a fabulous New Year
My emotional Grecian Urn overflows
With love and gratitude for you beloveds
Falling off a petal from the fragrant flower
Of an epoch of merriment is deeply painful
But bereft of the worm eaten part is grandeur
Let the sparkling rays of the new year sun
Shower on all legendary creativity and fame
