I cruised my life full of emotions,
But, step by step, my hidden conscience
Raised up, enlightening so clear
All stuff that was twilighted near,
And life itself with all it brings:
With love and death, with queens and kings,
With passion, hatred, secrets, plot -
At once stopped troubling me a lot!
… But, sad, sometimes, recalling back
To those times, when cards were stacked
Against me, leaving me no chance
To turn the page, to start romance,
Or to become a better person,
Alas, I’m fulfilled with emotion,
When, after all is said and done,
And you’re no longer glad and young,
Your dreams came true or, maybe, gone,
And you’re again, again alone! ..
