I cried tears of pain,
As I pushed you into this world,
I cried tears of Love,
As you were laid in my arms!
I cries tears of relief,
When I saw how healthy you were,
I cried tears of wonder,
When I gazed into your eyes!
I cried tears of pride,
As you nursed at my breast,
I cried tears of exhaustion,
As we both slept side by side!
I cried tears of excitement and soon anticipation came beside,
As we both left for home,
And as I saw the future through your eyes!
