I could not have written a poem like this
Had I not felt a peace and quiet inside-
Why and how in a world of such uncertainty
I still at times find such peace I do not know-
It is a gift
Like so much of my life
I can only thank G-d for -
The peace of a poem and the certainty of a time of joy-
And a happiness that radiates from within and from without
And makes me believe this dream of a life is real.
