The evening winds down
And darkness begins to fall,
I close my eyes to see you

That soft gentle glow falls into
My waiting eyes and we make
Love in that lingering glance

Now lit with a passionate fire,
Your warm body wrapped in
Mine in a soft embrace with

Myriads of kisses, the strokes
Of affection, light and tenderly
Expressed with a rising moon

The cape of night slowly drops
Beneath a blanket of stars until
The warmth of dawns early glow.
