Hope. Poem by David Wood

Hope.

Rating: 5.0

The uncertainty of a
Heavy world where
Misfortune walks the Earth,
Where the price paid
Is far too heavy.

When sadness flows like water.
The stars have nothing
To be sad about.

Sometimes all that's
Left at the end of the day
When all else fails,
When all is perilous,
Is hope.

Hope is the life force
That challenges and
Eventually overcomes.

The amazing piece about hope is that it doesn't discriminate. It is shared with us all. " Hope" just believe, for it works. " Misfortune walks the Earth" Powerful.
