I Changed The Words To That Song You Wrote

In my heart, there’s a hole. I thought someone ought to know.

I can breathe the ocean air or climb a mountain high, but no amount of wanderlust fills the emptiness inside.

And my heart, yeah it’s true… got no one else to tell my troubles to.

I may seem a woman on the verge of something great, but I’m two breaths away from losing my last ounce of faith.

In myself. To carry on. The courage to be strong. To believe in better days. To even sing this song.

With a heart full of holes. I thought someone ought to know.

Nice poem, we all feel this way at times. I like the way you word your emotions and how you state feelings. Really liked this.
