I Caught A Dream Poem by Benjamin Icon Ede

I Caught A Dream

I caught a dream
As dreams about fly
In the realm of night:
Bright with wings fluttering like butterfly;
Some stagnant like as morning star
Others in rainbow-color swag-
Beauty unrefined
Mystery undefined.

I caught one;
Wild like harmattan's fire
The extreme;
Unfathomable deep like oceans bowel.

I caught a dream's wing;
Am soaring away,
Aloft the tip-top of top
Drift by destiny's wind.
