maybe i should just let you go
untie you from this rope
I dont think i can be for you
I cant let you go

you touched my emotions as if
they are tangible.
I feel for you

So a grasp these days with a clasp
Trying not to let you slip pass.
I want you like a bear searching for honey
ill stick myhead in the bee hive.
If that is what it takes to have you by my side
I cant let you go

it really is hard to let go of a loved one, even though you know that holding on will only hurt u and prolong the pain it does not make it any easier. beautiful

True heart felt write, ....a fine poem. I'm with you on this my brother, our hearts find it so hard to empty what they once contained deeply....love can be cruel sometimes, but what a wonderful feeling it is..when love remains. all the best Jon
