I Can'T Do Without You Poem by Rashmi Menon

I Can'T Do Without You

i love the way you snuggle,

all close and crisp and light,

your teeth leaving the lightest marks

on my skin, yours forever more,

defining me, like noone else can,

uncanny is your ability

to make me collapse at a snap

of your spiny self, i unravel

the moment you do, such is

our kinship, i oil you up

and keep you slick and happy

without a murmur, or i'm in trouble,

my darling zipper.
