I Can'T Buy You A Sunny Day Poem by Brandi Stone

I Can'T Buy You A Sunny Day

It's a daydream, a sweet thing
layin' around all lazy
A sun beam, the birds sing
it all becomes a little hazy
We'll lay underneath a big oak tree
the leaves so green that we can't even see
Pretty little frog will hop on by
or maybe sit and stay a while
I can't buy you a sunny day
but I can sure give you a smile

We'll go on down to the little pond
you'll bait my hook and there we'll bond
a butterfly passes right on by
unaware of our world cause he's so high
when the clouds roll in we'll sit and fish
and catch ourselves a very nice dish
I can't buy you a sunny day
but I can sure give you a smile

Until the last snowflake
melts away
Until the green grass grows
and the flowers stay
I can't buy you a sunny day
but I can sure give you a smile
