I Call You Train Poem by Aundra Speed

I Call You Train

Rating: 3.5

I remember that night
The one I won’t forget
Me standing on the tracks
Knowing the train would hit
And even though common sense took it’s course
I could not resist
In the background of my mind I knew that
If that night didn’t exist
I would spend my life living the “what if” consequence
Now this may not make any sense
But as I walked on the the tracks
The deeper I wished
The tracks would show the road to my life
But I got lost in the mist
I seen the light coming
And I felt the tracks shift
Motivated by the horn
The louder it gets
I remember that night
The one I won’t forget
Me standing on the tracks
Knowing the train would hit
