I Am Who I Am Poem by Carolina Apicella

I am who I am; a divine creature with a pure heart.
I belong to the Divine, the path, the way, the Tao.
My spirit is pure, my heart is open,
and my mind is infinite.
My flesh is the vessel that gets me through
this earthly life unshaken.
I shall respect it and it shall flourish.
Let go of my desires and let in love for all.
I am within them and they are within me.
I feel the connection to all.
Living in the purest sense is what I am after.
There are no rules to break, no laws to abide by.
My spirit already knows how.
Let the water flow where it may.
It is the path to enlightenment, the way,
the Tao, the Divine, the Eternal.
