I am sin,
Both venial and mortal.
I live in lustful thoughts and acts,
Purity once had a hold on my soul
But with lust came:
Wrath,
Greed,
And sloth.
I acted on rashness and ignorance
I live the world
most find corrupt.
I know my neighbors
And they know me.
They ignore their own dreadful sins:
Envy,
Pride,
And gluttonous paths.
Only Dante knew of salvation
But,
I live sin.
I know sin.
I am
Sin.
