I AM PROPOSING

Most men in our planet
Dreams only how to get
Rich, how to have private jet.
Their imminent target

Is to own nice mansions,
Super cars, but they ignore passions.
Most men think only how to get money
To have control on our weird, or honey

World, to change women
Like clothes, to get glorified
And worshiped by terrified
And vulnerable men.

In contrast, since my young age,
I have been praying God to get
Someone who would not forget
And leave me, who would encourage

Me and even die for me, who can
Truly love me, as I am, for life.
I've been looking for an African
Queen, prettier to be my wife;

Who shines like the lovely sun,
That soft sun of Maghreb, who has
A sense of family and loves fun,
Cooking, and especially who does

Take God, King of Kings, as Lord
And also obey his precious Word.
Believe me pretty princess,
The incarnation of tenderness,

The short time we've been together
Crying, laughing, sharing whether
Our dreams, thoughts, joy or kindness
Is my longest period of happiness,

My brightest moment of love I ever
Shared. I would love you forever,
As your love is like a nectar which
Keeps bringing me back to you each

Second to adore your unique beauty,
To inhale your excellent odour
Like a bee attracted by the splendour
Of a flower, and to share your humility.

No matter what, I cannot release
You. You are the woman of my dream,
The one I have been looking for. Please
Come and let's make a divine team.

That is why today I'm brave enough
To ask you, my knees down, tough
Would you be, forever, despite
Our ups and downs, our fight,

The woman of my life, the mother
Of my children? Please be my wife!
Could you be by my side, together
We would fight and enjoy life?
