I Am Imprefect Individual Poem by Jacques Sprenkie Mateya

I Am Imprefect Individual

I am imperfect individual and
Don’t expect total perfectionism out of me
I have my own bad addictions
Dreadful habits and awful attitudes
The only thing that I am perfect with, is understanding

I am imperfect individual and
Don’t expect total perfectionism out of me
I have my own mistakes and vendettas
I have my own shortcomings and dawn cascades
And the only thing that I am perfect with, is that i rise in every cascade

Perhaps let me tell you now that I am imperfect individual and
Don’t expect total perfectionism out of me
I am not handsome to fulfills our fantasy
I am not sexy to fulfills your lust
Or romantic as such be your ideal husband
But what I am sure of
And what I am perfect with is loving you fully

Perhaps let me remind you now
That I am imperfect individual and
Don’t expect total perfectionism out of me
I don’t have all money in the world
But I can afford living

I am imperfect individual and
Don’t expect total perfectionism out of me
I am not intellectual; I am not good speaker in general
But what I am perfect in is in articulating my emotion.

Lastly I am imperfect individual
I might be comedian in character
I like joking
But does not mean that when I say, I care for you
I am joking

The only thing that I am perfect with,
is declaring my love without hesitation.
