I Am Igbotic



1.I get that often from you
Yes from you, YOU
You call me names
I take them for games
You laugh at me and call me "Igbotic man"
You think I´m insane

2.But YES! I am IGBOTIC
I´m not ashamed I am Igbotic"
I´m proud of it "I am Igbotic"
Oh! My God, "I am very Igbotic"

3.My soul spirit and body are Igbo
I write, speak and read Igbo
I am no other person but onye Igbo
Igbo is my identity, my me
So, biko let me be
YES! I´m Igbotic

4.My ancestors were ndi Igbo
Nne na Nna m bukwa ndi Igbo
I came from Anambra, Obodo Igbo
I schooled in Enugu, Ala Igbo
I live and work in Aba, Umu Igbo
YES! I am Igbotic

5.Igbo is my life, ndu m
Igbo is my culture
Igbo is my language
Igbo ndi oma are my people
YES! I am Igbotic

6.Igbo flows in my blood
Ihe na-esi nkakwu isi di ya n´obara
My heart beats in Igbo
I think and feel in Igbo
I laugh and cry in Igbo
I sleep, dream and snore in Igbo
I walk and run ka onye Igbo
YES! I am "Igbotic"


7.I have the pride of onye Igbo
I am strong
I never give up
I am hardworking
I am creative
I am not a beggar I work for my money
These are njirimara ndi Igbo
So, YES! I am Igbotic

8.Kidnappers are foreigners in my land
Prostitution and arm-robbery are taboo
Murder is abomination
Abortion is unheard of
No! they are not Igbotic

9.Our women are beautiful and cultured
Our women are treasured
Our women are happy and spicy
Yes, they are healthy and sexy
good wives and caring mothers
They are naturally endowed
Yes! They are Igbotic

10.Our youth are strong
Our men are very virile
Our land is fertile
A good weather is among
Yes! I am Igbotic

11.I am Igbotic
Biafra is my homeland
free me from this zoo
Cos I´m not a baboon
I am Igbotic
