I Am A Hydro-Turbine Poem by Ramesh Shrestha

I Am A Hydro-Turbine

I twist and turn and whirl around
Not going further, away from bound
I twist and turn and whirl around
Making the, continuous sound

I am so hard, I am so strong
Same like, precious diamond
With my blades heavy and long
My weight, your thought beyond!

Turning round and round and round
I power, the huge generator
With the mighty shaft bound
To the rotor of generator

Empowered by the flow of water
I turn within by boarder
Varying, the flow of water
Varies, output of generator

The country with town and village
Delights, when given privilege
Of the, electricity
That I produce in mighty

Train, bus, lift and factory
And all things of electronics
Run by, my given tonic
That is, electricity

I work hard, day and night
To provide, this world with light
If I would get a trouble
This world will, be horrible! ! !

I am afraid with sand in water
That erodes my every corner
I am afraid of rainy season
That brings up sand and erosion

Please god! , give me the power
To rotate, for endless hour
Please flood! , don't come too near
I have to be the key to empower

I revolve, I rotate
Don't want to stop an hour
I give off, I donate
To feed this world with POWER……
