I Am A Caterpillar Poem by Stacey Chan

I Am A Caterpillar

Rating: 4.0

I am a caterpillar
An ugly little worm
Crawling so slowly
Never get anywhere
But I have potentials
I have hopes
And I have dreams

I am a caterpillar
An ugly little worm
Crawling so slowly
Never get anywhere
But I know life is a promise
If I work really hard
Even I a caterpillar, Will one day cross the river

So I will be patient
To learnt to live in a cocoon
I will work very hard
To tear apart the cocoon
One day you will see
I will emerge a butterfly
Fluttering my beautiful wings
Crossing the river

Note: I wrote this poem yesterday night (May 6,2014) a 7 years old little girl for her poem recital competition. She wants something about butterfly :)
