I Always Said I'D Lie To Keep You- To Eros From Psyche
I always said I’d lie to keep you
but that was a lie from me to me
So I said the words that
unshackled your soul from mine
And severed what bound us
You are my conscience because
You are the only other one who knows
About the mystery that is us
And no one else has traveled our path
And no one understands Psyche like Eros.
I always said I’d lie to keep you
But I guess that was a lie too
