I Adored You Briefly Poem by Adam Berman

I Adored You Briefly

I adored you briefly

Your eyes reflect all the beauty
that this world has to offer
your lips are the biggest tease
not kissing them is- to suffer

Your nose is as cute
as a baby's first laugh
the colors of your cheeks
my brush will never have

The smile on your face
is the rainbow to all my troubles
and through the good and bad
I give glory to its colors

The fingers of your hands
are always so active; and to that I say amen
But O' I wish I could just grab e'm once in a while to simply suport them

Your clothes are funny
she says they never match
but I don't care much about things like that
as long as you I catch
