Hyden In Plain Sight Poem by Rob Hyden

Hyden In Plain Sight

How I picked my name sitting home alone one night.
I picked the name carefully, Rob Hyden in plain sight.
A name making common sense but still it’s good for me.
I am clearly out there in your face but always hard to see.
I’m like that distant image always fading in the night.
First you take a second look, then you check your sight.
As I walk with all the scary people, never being seen.
It’s hard to understand and know just what I mean.
It’s very easy to remember if you ever have to try.
All you really need to know is I spell it with a Y.
Rob Hyden *in plain sight
