Humanicide Poem by Sirlanio Jorge Dias Gomes

Humanicide

Insane humanity,
Tell me where did you get lost? !
Where is your grace?
Your children cry in your dirty hands,
Traces of blood and prejudice preclude your happiness.
Who are your parents?
What have you done with love?
Wisdom hid itself weeping,
Bewitched by the voices of the murdered innocents.
The monsters born in their rebellion are ashamed of you,
Suffocating sorrowful justice.
The houses are crumbling in their foundations,
Cumulus of tears from all countries.
There is no frontier for cowardice,
Stamped on angry faces.
The reason lost its identity,
In the insane and helpless trials.
Hypocrites generating hypocrites,
Lucid in their webs of unconcerned indifference.
Respect is wilting in the middle of the road,
Wanted for someone to help him.
Madam humanity;
Haunting death lurks in your domains
Hungry worms devouring people.
The disgrace disguised in smile,
Throw in the den the dissolutions in their truths.
