You just shattered my soul to a thousand pieces
Without giving me the slightest of the reasons
It might be something you thought I would soon forget
But it isn’t that easy no matter how much you regret
What you did left a scar on me
With that scar I can never happily be
Try to forget it, I certainly will
But the chances of that are close to nil
You left me staring with eyes full of pain
I can only hope it won’t happen again
But why can’t I think of anything else
Nothing that will make me worry any less
There are times I need your support, but in vain
All you seem to think about is your own personal gain
Maybe a few of your words will make me feel better
But by saying nothing you’re only making me feel upsetter.
