How Small Could I Be? Poem by Sara Stangle

How Small Could I Be?

Oceans and seas to grass and trees how small could I be?

As though feeling tiny in this ginormous world, overloading with a swamp of emotions, it makes me wanna hurl. How small could I be?

So many options, choices and paths. As far as I could see what should I do? Where should I go? should I be? These words could seem as far as the eye can see. how small could I be?

Watching the sun, moon and trees mighty as could be but what about me how big can I get? How tall can I be? Could I be as mighty as a tree? Or could I be as small as a pebble, or as inferior as a crumpled piece of parchment paper in the trash or as small as me, my emotions washing away part of me as if an inferior grain of sand.

Or how could big could I be? How high could I rise? How about a change of mind.
