How Do I Love You Poem by Dean Bottomlley

How Do I Love You

How do I love thee, I cannot number the ways.
Statistic cannot limit nor measure
The joy you bring to my life.
You are the stars, moons planets of my universe.
You are the sun that gives warmth and light.
Nurtures the very essence of my being.
You are the moon whose silent gentle light
Brings me the peace of sleep and dreams.

You are the earth in which my roots reach
To feed my growth, that sustain my life.
You are the rain that gives me drink:
That washes away grief and pain.
You are the air I breath, that fills my lungs
That keeps my heart beating and pumping.
You are everything that I could ever need
And everything I have I give to you.
