How Could You? Poem by James Woodleaf

How Could You?

Rating: 5.0

I never thought things would be this way
Heartache rushing through my veins
You left me now there’s nothing to say
But I hope you have a nice day
Goodbye, farewell, I wont see you this summer
Of all the things you chose to believe
You had enough changes, get out of my life; Please leave
I’m sick of hearing your voice; it’s sad how you’re not my friend
After all we’ve been through you think you’d want to be
I should have seen it coming
With it happening all around me
How could I be so dumb?
Surprised by this thought of being on my own?
Yeah, nothing will ever be the same
All this silence is wrecking my brain
But I’ll pull through it and I’ll stand strong alone
