How? Poem by Kate Fuelleman

How?

I want to tell him the truth how I really feel
But he might go into shock
It could destroy the friendship
If people heard, they'd probably mock
We have a great thing going now
I'd be damned if I ever let that die
Over something as ridiculous, as crazy as love
I could never let go of that guy
I've been telling him in different ways that I love him
Through songs, even in Japanese
He didn't catch onto the songs, I told him I was kidding
How the hell do I tell him, God, help me please
I fear the worst just thinking about telling him
He'd probably stop talking to me
He's the puzzle piece I need to be completed
Without him, I'm lost, like a scared little girl in the dark who can't see
