Horse Thief Poem by Phil Soar

Horse Thief

I put a claim in yesterday
Somebody stole my pony
I know it didn't run away
And now I'm getting lonely

My neighbour also lost a horse
He'd locked it in a stable
He left it at the new racecourse
Left the keys upon a table

So there's an equestrian thief about
So install security measures
Or the thief will strike when you go out
And steal your equestrian treasures
