When I am here and you are not
When lies scream loudly for things that are naught
I am broken and you are whole
Dreams and happiness are things you stole
How can I move forward
When you are no longer here
Being alone forever
Are things that I forever fear
You cannot possibly imagine the things that I continue to feel
This pain, sorry, emptiness, despair, are things that are real
Do you even care to know what I have become
Staring blankly I long to feel numb
The pain is unbearable because you meant so much
Rejection has me realizing happiness is out of touch
It's stacked up against me and you had no clue
When you got with me, my future depended on you
I can't blame you for not loving me
For I loved you, and a future I cannot see
I give up, I can no longer fight
You took from me many things, most notably my fight
I cannot live like this, I cannot go on
Amazing the reality, I am no longer hands on
Do not feel sorry, do not miss who I was
I am now gone, I am now what once was
You'll live your life ok
And I'll be incomplete and frayed
Don't look down and don't feel sad
I'm just the guy that you once had
Burned out wasted and hollow
For I am once was, I'm the tough pill to swallow
Seas of regret and chances not fulfilled
Couldn't find happiness forever, depression has now killed
