Hopeless Poem by Zach Limb

Hopeless

I had thought that,
Without her,
My heart would ache,
And never stop.
I had thought that,
With one kiss,
I'd finally
Be alive.
But then the world
Kept turning,
And what i thought,
Went in sleep.

Then,
My dream was made fulfilled,
A sudo-reality,
Though, it will most surely be.

Tossing, I feel the rhythm
Of my soul, dulled by longing.
And slumber hardly.

I wish for you
To be caused
To feel it, too.
Just for seconds.
Hopeless,
I grant it true,
For you,
To love me, too.
