Hopeless Poem by Meg Mendel

Hopeless

Look me in the eyes
What so you see?

Is it pain?
I'm sure it is,
But doubled.

Am I crumbling?
Yes, I'm a cookie crumbling with each bite.

Am I a black hole?
I believe I am.
An endless pit of blackness.
Memories floating around.
Happiness is lost.
