Hopeful Change
The polls have closed
Results will soon be disclosed…
Citizens anxiously wait
As numbers calculate
Red and blue…each state’s
Prominence illuminates
From shores to the mountain range
Reservoirs fill with hopeful change
Reforms and mending are beseeched
A tearful summit has been reached
What does this moment mean?
Join hands…there is no in between
