Hometown Poem by P.R Deltoid

Hometown

Rating: 5.0

Dull monochrome drizzle intrudes
the freezing brittle breath
of forever winter;
Never so apt a season does
this grim lugubrious place deserve
blessed with all the wretched glamour
of a heavy smoker's ashtray
and all the cheer of flu
at Christmas.
